Instead, guests receive confirmation of their booking before they even leave home, including clear details on which room they’ve been allocated and how to access it when they arrive.

Multiple Access Options, One Simple Experience
For first-time guests who haven’t yet been issued a fob or swipe card, the process is simple.
Guests download the Blyx App, open the reservation confirmation email, and upload their access directly from the link provided. When they arrive on site, they tap Unlock Door in the app and enter their room.
For returning guests who already have a fob or swipe card, those credentials are retained and automatically linked to their allocated room. Guests can choose their preferred access method — app, fob, or card — without needing to reissue keys or repeat the process.
Either way, guests go straight to their room with minimal friction.
Arrival Confirmed — Without a Reception Queue
Checking in at reception often serves more purposes than simply collecting a key — and Blyx doesn’t skip over those critical steps.
Arrival confirmation is automatically handled when a guest presents their unique access credential anywhere within the facility. This may occur at a boom gate, dining facility, gym, or at the room door itself.
Once access is presented, the system confirms the guest is onsite in real time — without staff needing to manually update multiple systems.
This allows reception and operations teams to shift their focus to what matters more:
identifying guests who haven’t arrived and may need assistance, rather than processing those who already have.
Wayfinding That Reduces Friction
Arriving at a large facility and finding your room for the first time can be frustrating.
The Blyx App includes a wayfinding map that helps guests locate their room and navigate key areas across the site. Guests can easily find:
- Dining areas and menus
- Fresh water points
- Laundries
- The gym and bar
- Social activities and events happening onsite
This reduces reliance on reception and helps guests feel confident from the moment they arrive.
Inductions, Rules, and Agreements — Digitally Managed
Many facilities require guests to complete an induction or agree to site rules before accessing their room.
With Blyx, custom pop-ups and links can be configured within the app, requiring guests to read and acknowledge information before access is granted. If rules or conditions change, acknowledgements can be reset to ensure every arriving guest receives the most up-to-date version.
